HARPER, Kan. – In an effort to increase food insecurity awareness within local communities, DewEze announced today a new campaign to help squeeze out hunger.
“We’ve faced a year the likes of which none of us experienced before,” said Tim Penner, Harper Industries’ President. “But our customers are resilient and continue to produce the food that people depend on. This campaign falls in line with our core values, and together with our customers, we can provide hope through this time of need.”
For the next 100 days, DewEze will donate $100 to a local food bank with every bale bed purchase. Through the online warranty registration, DewEze customers will be able to highlight a food bank of their choosing. The give back program not only helps get food to neighbors in need, but also assists food pantries in stretching their budgets to make the greatest impact.
Harper Industries kicked off the campaign with its own food drive in March. Employees delivered two crates of non-perishable food and presented a $1,000 check to the local Harper Mission Mart.
The Squeeze Out Hunger drive ends July 10. For more details on the campaign or to register your new DewEze Bale Bed, click here.
